Kyrsten Sinema to the Rescue! Boo!
In a new radio campaign ad the Democratic candidate for the US Senate in Arizona, Kyrsten Sinema, talks about being a Problem Solver. She says that there are no Republican Problems or Democrat Problems, just Problems, and that she is the one who will fight for you and solve your Problems.
How nice.
When a candidate starts to talk about Solving Problems, however, it is not a good thing; a Red Flag should go up.
You see, a Problem is a Subjective thing. What is a Problem to one person may not be a Problem to another, and vice versa. Some Problems are Real and some Problems are Imaginary, manufactured by Propaganda or Deceit.
Therefore, when a Politician comes forth claiming to be a Solver of Problems, you had better expect to be abused by the Solutions they propose, because it is NOT the Job of an Elected Official in a Free Society to solve your Problems. The JOB of every Elected official in a Free Society is to Secure the Unalienable Rights of Mankind (the Proto Criteria) for their constituents.
Real Human Freedom is inversely proportional to the extent a Person is Dependent on the Government, Obligated to the Government, and Regulated by the Government. The less a Person is Dependent on, Obligated to, and Regulated by the Government, the more Freedom they possess. The more a Person is Dependent on, Obligated to, and Regulated by the Government, the less Freedom they possess.
- Dependencies are those estates where a person is void of self-determination.
- Obligations are those entities for which a person is Financially and Ethically bound.
- Regulations are those authoritative decrees which a person must obey.
Where do YOU want to reside on the Freedom Index?
Now, all Totalitarian Regimes work to decrease Real Human Freedom. They are built through the implementation of something called the Hivist Solution. (please read; Secular Hivism; the Enemy of Freedom)
The Hivist Solution is an answer to a Problem, real or imagined, that establishes a Hive Culture.
A Hive Culture is one of three Social Constructs that facilitate the cultivation and perpetuation of a Centralized Command and Control: a Culture of Dependency, a Culture of Obligation, and a Culture of Regulation. Hive Cultures are consequences of Human Inability and Incompetence.
A Culture of Dependency is one whose members are made to rely on the Government for every aspect of Life. This means that every member of society is eventually stripped of the opportunity to function Independently. Every person is sustained by, supported by, and put to work by the Government.
A Culture of Obligation is about making certain people Financially Obligated for things that actually violate their Unalienable Rights. A Culture of Obligation is about False and Forced Obligations.
A Culture of Regulation is one where the people are convinced that all their problems can and should be solved with Government Legislation. A Culture of Regulation is the Notion that there Needs to be a Law governing every aspect of Life.
The best way to illustrate how the Hivist Solution is implemented is to consider the Con Game.
In a Con Game, there are basically two players: the Swindler and the Victim (also known as the Mark, the Sucker, the Sap, the Target, the Fool, or the Prey.) The Swindler tries to convince the Victim that there is some kind of Problem which needs his Solution. This problem is a “Stressor”, an issue that is used to cause Severe Anxiety for the Victim. The problem, however, is designed to be one that the Victim cannot solve without involving the Swindler. Because the Victim wants to relieve the Stress caused by the Problem, and they can’t solve it themselves, they turn to the Swindler for a Solution. The Swindler, of course, is all too happy to oblige, he provides them with a Solution that involves giving him money, and the Con is complete.
The Swindler always has the Solution ready before he declares the existence of the Problem.
An excellent and light-hearted example of this can be found in the movie The Music Man. In the relevant scene, the Main Character is talking to a former associate and fellow con man, and you witness the inception of his Con.
Watch the first 17 seconds (at least):
Harold: “Now, Marce, I’m in need of some ideas if I’m to get your town out of the serious trouble it’s in.
Marcellus: “River City ain’t in any trouble.”
Harold: “We’re gonna hafta create some… must create a desperate need in your town for a boy’s band.”
This applies to politicians like Kyrsten Sinema because they are ready with a Hivist Solution; they’re just looking for an opportunity to implement it. If you come to her with a Problem, and ask her to solve it, she will give you a premade Solution that involves a New Law or Regulation that creates Dependents and increases Taxes, thus moving you to the Left on the Freedom Index.
Regulators relish the opportunity to regulate, and when people come to them for Solutions to their Problems, they are more than eager to offer their services whether they are actually needed or not. The fact remains that some aspects of Life, even though they may appear to be problematic, don’t need to be (and shouldn’t be) regulated by the Government. It is a Function of the Unalienable Right to Human Freedom that an Individual has the Right to Solve and Determine their own Problems in a manner consistent with the Proto Criteria.
It is better to solve a problem without the intervention of a Regulator than it is to involve them. Every time a Regulator adds a regulation they grant themselves more authority – they give themselves another opportunity for Enforcement and Revenue, and you lose a little bit more Freedom because there is yet another part of your life where you must answer to them.
When Regulators start writing Laws to Solve Problems that the people should endeavor to solve themselves, it results in Authoritarian Creep. Authoritarian Creep is a subtle and incremental abuse of the System which results in the cultivation of increasing Power and Authority for Politicians and their Political Offices.
What people who desire more and more Government Regulations seem to forget, is that when they call for Regulators to provide a Solution for their Problems, the Regulators will use it as an opportunity to seize more Power and Control over their lives. Every Solution proposed by a Regulator is another bill of Obligations and Dependencies that when accumulated will eventually extinguish Human Freedom.
Instead of asking a Candidate how they’ll Solve your Problems, ask them how they intend to Secure your Unalienable Rights.
The Candidate who says they will work to decrease the number of Dependencies on Government, the number of Obligations to Government, and the number of Regulations by Government is the one you want to Vote For!
