About the Proto Criteria

On July 4, 1776, Representatives of the newly formed United States of America issued a Formal Declaration to the World-at-Large announcing their Independence from the Authority of the King of England.

To justify their Actions they submitted the following paragraph written by Thomas Jefferson:

“We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness – That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles…” The U.S. Declaration of Independence

 

The Proto Criteria are the Three Unalienable Rights identified by Thomas Jefferson in the U. S. Declaration of Independence.

The Proto Criteria are the Fundamental Elements required to legitimately establish any form of Government upon the face of the Earth.  As Jefferson indicated, it is to secure these Rights [that] Governments are instituted among Men.  Without an acknowledgment of the Proto Criteria, no Government has the right or reason to exist – and it is the People who have the right to alter or abolish it, and to institute a new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles.
