VS
Ideological Points of Contrast and Comparison
Under a Hivist System of Government such as Socialism or Fascism:
- All Capital and Property is controlled or owned by the State.
- All Economic Commerce and Consumption is planned and controlled by the State.
- All Human Sustenance, such as Food, Shelter, Clothing, and Healthcare is provided by the State.
- The Goal of Education is to Promulgate a Culture of Dependency.
- All Communication Media are produced or controlled by the State and limited by Political Correctness.
- Society is organized like an Insect Colony being divided into First and Second-Class Citizens (Leaders and Workers).
In a Free Society:
- All Citizens have the Right to Own, Buy, Sell, and Leverage personal Property and Capital.
- All Economic Commerce and Consumption is determined by Supply and Demand.
- The acquisition of Food, Shelter, Clothing, and Healthcare is a direct function of the intensity of an Individual’s ingenuity, determination, and perseverance.
- The Goal of Education is to Promulgate a Culture of Self-Reliance.
- All Communication Media are Privately owned Enterprises and Endeavors exercising the Freedom of Speech.
- Everyone is Free to Pursue an increase of their Wealth and Status in the Community
Every Human Being has an Unalienable Right to Liberty
Real Freedom is NOT the ability to do whatever you want so long as you don’t hurt anyone else. When people define Freedom in such a manner it is essentially Thoughtless and Juvenile, it’s the kind of definition of Freedom that self-absorbed teenagers might formulate. Real (Grownup/Adult) Freedom is the Unalienable Right and Ability to Provide for yourself, Choose your own Obligations, and Fulfill Truth and Justice.
You are not really Free if you can’t Provide for yourself, Choose your own Obligations, or Fulfill Truth and Justice.
This means Real Human Freedom can be measured in terms of Dependencies, Obligations, and Regulations to the State.
- Dependencies are those estates where a person is void of self-determination.
- Obligations are those entities for which a person is Financially and Ethically bound.
- Regulations are those authoritative decrees which a person must obey.
Real Freedom is inversely proportional to the extent a Person is Dependent on the State, Obligated to the State, and Regulated by the State. The less a Person is Dependent on, Obligated to, and Regulated by the State, the more Freedom they possess. The more a Person is Dependent on, Obligated to, and Regulated by the State, the less Freedom they possess.
Therefore…
This is the Real Political Spectrum, the Functional Political Spectrum, and the Official Political Spectrum of this website and the Proto Criteria. It rejects and replaces the Dysfunctional Political Spectrum which lists Nazi Dictatorships, Fascist Dictatorships, Military Dictatorships, and Abusive Monarchies on the Extreme Right, and Communist Dictatorships, Marxist Dictatorships, Proletarian Dictatorships, and Anarcho-Communists on the Extreme Left.
The Dysfunctional Left-Right Political Spectrum is not really useful for political discourse because it is based on utterly worthless and superfluous distinctions. It is exactly the same on one end as it is the other, and the observer is supposed to think that the only safe option is to stay in the Middle between two Evil Extremes. Hivism is Hivism and Evil is Evil, however, and the only reasonable position is to stay as far away from the Evil as possible, not to surround yourself with it.
Left-Wing means ANY ideology that does not revere the Proto Criteria and wants people to be totally dependent on, totally obligated to, and totally regulated by the government.
Right-Wing means ANY ideology that reveres the Proto Criteria and wants people to be minimally dependent on, minimally obligated to, and minimally regulated by the government.
Moreover…
Capitalism is NOT a Political Ideology!
There is no such thing as the Capitalist Manifesto or the Capitalist Party.
The United States was founded on the Ideals of Liberty, not Capitalism. Capitalism was not the objective – no one ever said, “Give us Capitalism or give us death.” They said, “Give us Liberty or give us death.”
We established a Government designed to Secure the Proto Criteria, first, then an economic system of Capitalism automatically followed because Capitalism is the only Economic System that fits with Freedom.
Please don’t fall for the Totalitarian idea that Capitalism is the opposite of Communism, it is a Straw Man comparison.
The Opposite of Communism is not Capitalism.
The Opposite of Communism is Freedom.
First comes Freedom then comes Capitalism.
Communism, on the other hand, doesn’t begin with the Idea of Freedom – it begins with the idea of Material Equality. The Governments established by Communists are (theoretically) designed to achieve Material Equality through an All-Powerful Central Authority, a Dictatorship [of the Proletariat], rather than to Secure the Proto Criteria.
Freedom, as a developed Concept, is expressly absent from the Communist Manifesto, and Communist Philosophy in general, because it is an impediment to their goal of Material Equality; it is impossible to distribute Wealth Equally when Wealth is Produced Unequally unless the Unalienable Rights of Mankind are violated.
In other words, first comes Communism then comes Material Equality – Freedom is not part of the Equation.
A Communist, however, would probably disagree – they would try to argue that Material Equality comes first then Freedom, but that is part of their Invalid Premise which I addressed in my post The Proto Criteria versus Communism/Socialism.
When people criticize Capitalism they’re really criticizing Freedom.
Communists don’t want to argue against Freedom so they replace that term with the word Capitalism in order to redirect and muddle the issue.
We don’t need to defend Capitalism, we need to defend Freedom.
If a Communist (or any other Hivist) says something derogatory about Capitalism don’t waste your time trying to prove Capitalism is better than Communism, simply prove that Freedom is better than Totalitarianism – it’s that simple.
In the end, Communism is nothing more than a Euphemism/Facade for Totalitarianism (Hivism), and Capitalism is simply a Communist Epithet/Pejorative for Freedom.
The Debate isn’t between Capitalism and Communism, the Debate is between Freedom and Hivism.
Free Enterprise = Freedom
